There is something magical about Christmas, and there is something magical about a Christmas Memory Book

It's the time of year when everything seems cleaner, brighter, happier. It's the time of year that we ought to cherrish our memories.

I don't know about you, but when it comes to decorations, I can never remember exectly how I had them from one year to the next, so a Christmas memory book would solve that problem if nothing else!

Decorations, tree, lights, presents, not to mention the ages of those receiving and giving them, may all change imperceptably from year to year. We may not notice the change one year to another, but over a longer period of time the changes can be quite large.

Even in terms of decorations alone, fashions change quite considerably over the years. We think we are displaying traditional decorations, but the change over ten years or so can be quite noticeable.

The change is even more noticeable when it comes to toys. The toys children receive today are totally different to the toys their parents received when they were children, and the parents toys were completely different to the toys received by grand-parents when they were children.

Even traditional Christmas meals are not the same as they used to be, never mind the way of cooking or presenting the meal, so don't forget to take a picture of the family table.

So don't ignore Christmas. Take pictures, make notes, create memories in a Christmas memory book.
