High School Yearbooks

Provide a great resource for your memory book.

They provide pictures and photographs of everyone in the year, including all the students and teachers as well as, in some cases, the administrators.

Not only is it good to have a high school record of how people change from year to year that is recorded in the book when the yearbooks are compared with one another, but they also usually include ages and names of your peers that are so often forgotten when you look back later in life.

Whatever happened to so-and-so?

The internet provides a great opportunity for following careers and the lives of everyone you went to high school with. We're often surprised at how much information there is available on the web, just type your own name in and you'll be astounded. College magazines that mention you, work magazines that mention you, local newspapers that mention your wedding. Forums that you've long forgotten about.

If that's true for you, it's true for others you went to school with also.

Of course, resources are not limitless, but high schools usually have a collection of their yearbook, so however long ago it is since you attended school it's never too late to get your collection going.
